I always like watching Wimbledon during this time of year. To me, the world of Wimbledon and tennis shoes is pretty similar to the world of golf and of ladies golf shoes. Think about it for a second. Both sports are individual sports, with no team to back you up. Both sports rely heavily on endorsements, like from ladies golf shoes. Footwear is very important in both sports, as well—ladies golf shoes are certainly important in the game of golf. Both sports aren’t really considered among the biggest sports in the U.S., which is a shame to me. I may prefer my ladies golf shoes to my tennis shoes, but I also think that the game of tennis deserves more attention. Look at the parallels- there are so many. Even the dominating stars, like Tiger Woods and Roger Federer, are quite similar. I think that ladies golf shoes and tennis shoes must have some kind of common ancestry.
